A private route through your job search
Keep applications, interviews, follow-ups, and resume versions in one focused workspace. No account required.
Northstar Labs
Your real board opens on a separate, advertising-free origin.
A repeatable job-search system
Capture a role while it is fresh, move it through five clear stages, and give every live application a next action. The board is useful with two applications or two hundred.
Record the job link, source, salary range, resume version, and notes before the posting disappears.
Use the status menu on any device, or drag cards on desktop, as the role moves from saved to a final outcome.
Add a follow-up date or interview time. Export interviews to your calendar instead of copying details by hand.
Know where your records live
The private app and this advertising-supported guide use separate web origins. Your browser is the starting point; the Cloudflare-hosted encrypted copy exists only after you turn sync on inside the app.
Your application fields are stored in this browser’s IndexedDB. Clearing site data can remove them, so keep a JSON backup.
Your browser encrypts the complete tracker before upload. The server stores ciphertext, a hashed access token, version, and expiry metadata — not the encryption key.
Clear answers
No. The tracker starts in your browser and saves application records on this device. An account is never required.
Not until you enable encrypted sync. Choose “Use on another device,” then open the private link or QR code on your phone.
Synced application records are encrypted in your browser with AES-GCM before upload. The encryption key stays in your private connection link and is not sent to the server.
Yes. Export Google Sheets or Excel as a CSV file, then use Import. Review valid rows and any row-level errors before confirming.
Download a JSON backup regularly. JSON preserves the complete application record and can replace the current tracker during a restore.
